I just finished this Marvel Dr. Octopus nook for one of our nephews. I made his brother a Sauron nook last year. I ordered the articulating figure through Amazon. Starting with the basic book box from Hobby Lobby, I covered it with stone blocks made from egg cartons. The inside I covered with Doc Oc/Spiderman comic covers. The flashing red, blue, and white lights are mounted an inch apart vertically up the inside back wall. A 3V coin battery pack is attached to the floor, and the pushbutton switch protrudes though the floor at the front for easy access.
